There is a great weight of responsibility to say, thus says the Lord... or even in the name of Jesus Christ... there is a responsibility in that.  We must understand that.  The Bible says to not despise prophesying, but to test every thing... weigh it to the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.  We hold fast to what is good but throw it out if it is false.

1 Corinthians tells us if one person prophesies to another, that a third should stand to the side and judge. If we are not willing to have our prophecies judged, then we need to keep our mouths shut because that is what the Word says to do.

CD, the thing is that the Bible declares two things will happen in the last days... that false Christs and false prophets would arise... and on the balance of that, that God would pour out His Spirit on all flesh and your sons and daughters will prophesy.  There is the real and the false... we need to know the Word of God to keep from being deceived... and the gift of discernment of spirits helps as well.

But there is a great responsibility to this.
