Well, that scripture you gave fits in with what I covered in the first lesson. See, even the pastors in Revelation 2 and 3 over the churches are called "angels" because they are messengers. At least one of the angels who pour out the vial or bowl judgments was a Saint actually as seen in that scripture where he tells John that he is of prophets. I remember the first time that I taught that in a Last Days study that this one made some surprised reactions.

But I said when I started that I wanted to concentrate on the created angels... the "sons of God" or stars or the angel of the Lord seen praising God while the universe was created.

I don't know that we are really disagreeing... perhaps there is not a total understanding of what is being said. I covered that briefly in the first audio lesson.

As far as Satan goes, of course he cannot be called that now... he lost that. I would suggest that you check out the study archived in the Audio Archives at the bottom of the forum. I am not sure if that one's audio file is still connected, but the text is still there.

I wasn't saying that the word Halayl applied after the fall. That was the whole point... when you praise God and cry out Hallelujah, not only are you praising God with the highest praise possible, but you are also rubbing the nose of the Devil into what he threw away. Reference Ezekiel 28 and Isaiah 14.

This was his name before the fall. Now, he is that crooked serpent... the Devil and Satan (Revelation 12).

I didn't want to stress the Devil in this study and only mentioned it briefly because I had already covered it in the previous "Knowing Your Enemy" studies. I covered it pretty thoroughly, but I guess you weren't here yet when I did that. I encourage you to take a look and a listen if its still online. And I thank you for your comments... interesting stuff.

Philippians 3:8-10 " 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ, 9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; "
