Actually... according to this one...

it was "VERILY"...

a dumb Church of God pastor told me that one once when I was preaching a revival for him..

he also told me that "Isme" was the name of Isaiah's horse... he got that from Isaiah 6, and in his version he said, "Woah Isme" instead of "Woe is me..."

or the name of Lazarus' dog... "Moreover... Moveover the dog..."

On a serious note... Jesus had around 500 people, not 12 that followed Him around most of the time. The 12 were the inner 12, and there were more disciples than that...

the one who replaced Judas, Matthias was one of these... and already called as an Apostle or could not replace Judas Iscariot. Joseph Barsabas was also another candidate, which means he was a disciple... and fellow apostle as well, but was not chosen to replace one of the 12.

So, there could be some truth to this one...

but it was really meant as a joke of someone with the name "Verily"... it is a King James Version joke basiclly...

verily being an old English word meaning "truly".

I felt like being dumb this morning...
