this is indeed a wicked time in the church world... it is in the American Church. It is not all corrupt, but the enemy has gone after the high profile leadership, and so many times you see things like the Paulk case where incident after incident are swept under the rug. Well, God keeps an accounting.

I did a little research after reading this on Earl Paulk and was frankly shocked. I have always known of his heretical teachings, but I knew nothing of the charges of members claiming to be forced into sex. Now, you can have one person or maybe two over the years just try and destroy you. The enemy sometimes gets people to bear false witness. But that shows a very definitive trend in that church among multiple people. I wonder that it did not blow up publicly before now.

I would not put Charles Stanley in this grouping though. Yes, his wife abandoned and divorced him because he would not quit pastoral ministry. Satan used her against him. He did say that he would resign, but changed his mind. Frankly, God probably made him change his mind. The easy way out would have been to resign. The hard way would be to obey the Lord and continue in the ministry that Satan tried to destroy through his backslidden wife. So, I salute him because he did the hard thing. He could have continued with books and as a speaker and probably made more money as far as it goes resigned from his church. He took the hard path...

the truth is that he was scripturally without blame and free since she abandoned him like that.

But Tilton is a false prophet who is interested in profit! I won't get into Paul Crouch, but one thing for sure... your sins, if they are not confessed, have a tendency to be shouted on the rooftops.

The truth is that if you are married, there are two people involved there. One of those two can backslide and give into adultery, etc., and the other person be totally blameless. Many times if the enemy cannot get the minister, he will go after the spouse. It happens over and again. The easy thing is to quit the ministry. Not only does that please the Pharisees in the church and the traditionalists... but it gives into the depression that comes from such a traumatic event. It is easy to just quit, but not right.

But when a so-called man of God does what a pastor in a nearby city does... he had his wife institutionalized, and then divorced her because he claimed (don't you believe this) that God told him to because she was not spiritual enough, and then he married another woman in his church right afterward.

Uh... that is the "Days of Eli" stuff that got the Ark of the Covenant taken when the glory departed. You cannot sin like that and get by, it will draw the judgment of God Almighty.

PEOPLE HAVE FORGOTTEN TO FEAR GOD, and they act like "fools"... the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. They use the name of God and then live like He is not there... that is a fool.

Be not deceived, God is not mocked! Whatsoever a man (or woman) soweth, that shall they reap! It will rise up to bite you if you do not repent of it and make it right.
