I'm sure James/aka/Firestorm will answer this at length....
Due to my hearing, I am unable to understand audio...... I was a non-believer for many years....but, today, I know it is real...I had/have the experience, and others only have an argument....Never, could I do this on my own.... Wish I was able to type more without pain......PRAISE THE LORD FOR THIS MANIFESTATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.... sooo
Those who matter don't judge me. Those who judge me don't matter.

Speaking in tongues is one of those interesting topics in Western Christianity today. I personally both believe in the gift of tongues and speak in tongues as
a prayer language. Those who argue against tongues have to ignore a lot of both scriptural and empirical evidence to support their beliefs. I have found that a
lot of Christians who don't speak in tongues simply are ignorant on the subject. They don't not believe in tongues; they simply don't know
anything about it either way.
It took me a while to understand that there are different kinds of tongues; there are prophetic tongues that need interpretation, tongues that are given as a private prayer language and don't need interpreted, evangelistic tongues, and probably more. All have their place in the Body of Christ. My pastor was in France once preaching, and he came across a French woman who was speaking in tongues. He started laughing because she was speaking English and didn't know it. There is an evangelist who is friends with my pastors that does missionary work in deep Texas/Mexico. God supernaturally gave him the Spanish language. One day he couldn't speak Spanish and the next he could. God can do whatever he wants with the human tongue if people would just get out of His way.
Most people pick a daisy and pull off the petals to say, "She loves me, she loves me not. She loves me, she loves me not." Jesus picks a daisy to
say, "I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you."
