It is "odd" to me to say Happy Memorial Day, for it is not a happy day, but a solemn one. It has been transmuted in American culture into something that it was never meant to be. It has become more synonymous with laying back or the beginning of Summer or outdoor grilling and a 3-day weekend. This might be one of the additive reasons that we put such a low value on human life and give so little honor to those who truly deserve honor. Now, if you are veteran and have given to our country in the name of freedom, then instead of being shown care and gratitude from the nation you love, in the past few years you are targeted by Homeland Security as a risk. You deserve this nation's thanks! This is a twisting of values where good becomes evil and evil becomes good. The country's attitude toward Memorial Day is a flashing "sign" showing that something has perverted American values. It is at least a symptom of a disease of lovelessness and a loss of honor where life and liberty are no longer valued. There is a spiritual cancer eating away at our society and sadly, many younger than my generation has known no other values... God help us!
I pray for you who have served God and our country and served the cause of liberty for the United States of America...Â
I pray that God would bless you and keep you, and help you not become disheartened over the darkness that has fallen over at least half of our country. I personally give my thanksÂ
, and want you to realize that a good number of us appreciate you and have not forgotten you. At least half (a bit more) of this country still has American Values and still love God and country.  I pray that you keep to those values set forth in our Constitution that you fought for. I pray that you hold tight to the good and the values of liberty that some of your friends and fellows lost their lives for.Â
SEE, MANY HAVE SACRIFICED THEIR LIVES IN THE CAUSE OF LIBERTY, and yet when we choose to allow those liberties to just be taken away after so much blood has been spilled to defend it, then we dishonor those who have gone before. I pray that those of us who love God and country not lose heart now that forces are moving among us to attempt to destroy us from within. Those who were supposed to literally be working for the people are now working to invoke fear in those who love liberty. We must never let our liberty be stolen, taken, or hijacked by foreign powers or our own. Too many have given too much for us to simply let this precious thing be lost at this point.
I will end here, but let me say that the sickness that has infected so much of our country is seen in the loss of value of life in general.Â
We can see where abortion doctors have literally butchered babies and murdered them when they were born and so many are unmoved.Â
Our leaders are more involved in trying to make themselves look good or try to deflect our attention from the evils being fed right now... more concerned with sports predictions than the evils that are being done within our society right now. They are about to institutionalize death boards (via the IRS of all people through Obamacare) who will decide who will live and who will die. Over 50 million babies aborted... and we are told that the child that is murdered has no rights. Where is their liberty?   Men and women who have risked their lives (and many have been injured in their fight for their country) are now told that they are some kind of risk to society. They don't want them "armed". Why? Because if evil forces who hate this country infiltrate our security structure and start bringing an evil totalitarian government and attacking their own people, these men and women would still defend the Constitution (as we all should) and that makes them a threat to those who are promoting tyranny. They are to be honored, not censured! If they turn against those who have fought for the good, then does it not bring into extreme question those who attack them? Memorial Day has been de-emphasized, for it is a day to remember FREEDOM in the UNITED STATES and those who GAVE ALL to secure that freedom for the rest of us. It reminds us of the PRICE that was paid in the Revolutionary War... and all the rest to secure freedom and then fight to keep it. Peace must be kept for there are always evil forces trying to destroy it and bring tyranny... always. To remember those who have died on Memorial Day is to remember THE VALUE OF FREEDOM in general. It also reminds us of those living veterans who are to be honored for their stand and sacrifice for FREEDOM. Values such as love of God and country and the freedom to pursue happiness are dangerous to whatever mask a tyrant decides to take on. From religious tyrants such as Muslims who want to enforce Sharia to
political tyrants such as Nazis and Communists (who claim to be opposites politically but do the exact same thing and attack personal liberty) to globalists who attempt to rob our nation of their guaranteed Constitutional freedoms using the United Nations
, they all hate the personal liberty and values that the USA has had (on the most part) throughout its history. God help us if we ever let tyrants TWIST MORALS so much that we think defenders of freedom are some kind of risk!
So, take some time today to HONOR THOSE who have DEFENDED FREEDOM!
And may God bless you!Â
